Service Description

Designed to complement our existing training offer, the Run Happy Programme is a one-off coaching experience led by Everrun Coach Shirin Franklyn. It focuses on building confidence, resilience, and sustainable running habits to help you enjoy your running and progress towards your own goals. This programme is about how you run, not how fast - unless it's your goal to improve your time! Who it’s for? Everyone! It is inclusive and adaptable for mixed abilities Ideal for anyone wanting to feel confident covering the ~5km of running between strength stations at the 2026 Members Fitness Race. Open to all - taking part in the race is not a prerequisite! Walking, jogging, stopping, and mixed paces are all fully supported and encouraged What’s included? 1. The Kick-off Workshop (75 minutes) Saturday 14 March 2026, 9:45am Furze Platt Senior School A practical, interactive session designed to set you up for success. We’ll cover: Running form fundamentals: posture, breathing, and efficiency Pacing strategies for mixed-ability and stop-start formats Simple warm-ups and drills you can reuse anytime Mindset, confidence, and fatigue management Reassurance that all running styles and paces are valid You’ll leave feeling informed, supported, and confident to start. 2. The Training Plan An accessible 8-week plan, adaptable for all levels. Expectation of 2–3 effort-based runs per week (alone or meet with other programme participants) Clear options for beginners through to more experienced runners Focus on aerobic base, durability, and balancing running with strength work Taper and race-week guidance included Advanced advice available for those aiming for specific event goals (optional) 3. Ongoing Support Dedicated WhatsApp group throughout the programme Individual guidance as needed Optional Strava feedback for those who use it Optional mid-point check-in to review progress and adjust as needed Run Happy is about feeling capable, confident, and supported — whatever your starting point. If you want running to feel more manageable, enjoyable, and sustainable, this programme is for you!

Cancellation Policy

For small group training, if required please make any cancellation as soon as possible to ensure that at busy sessions, other members may be able to book on. Outdoor training continues in the majority of weather conditions. However in the event of extreme weather, we will look to offer the service online. (MEMBERSHIP PACKAGES - Please note we do offer a reduced training schedule during school holidays. Our pricing structure for membership does factor this in, and spreads cost of your training evenly across the year – this is in order to reduce transactions and admin time spent booking courses and blocks. And means we can stabilise the business, focusing our energy on having you feel fit and fab!). For one-off events and workshops, we are also unable to issue refunds. However in some circumstances we may be able to offer credit for alternative services with advance notice of any changes or cancellation required. For personal training clients, please refer to your terms and conditions around cancellation and rescheduling on appointments.
