Shirin Franklyn
Running Coach
Shirin is a UKA LiRF/ CiRF qualified coach with a passion for supporting women and helping them begin and continue running for the long term. Her approach focuses on developing confidence, physical and mental resilience, and also the practical habits that make running feel sustainable and rewarding. As a coach Shirin is hands on and approachable, caring deeply about understanding each runner as an individual. These relationships are vital in building trust and allow her to support clients consistently and thoughtfully. As well as her one to one coaching clients, Shirin coaches at Maidenhead Athletics Club leading large track sessions and here works with runners across a wide range of abilities and goals. These can be around returning to running, finding consistency to improving performance and chasing personal bests. For Shirin, pursuing a goal is about more than structured training. It's about tuning into your body, developing confidence and enjoying the process of becoming stronger, whatever the start point.
